Custom #:20176
Name:The Riddler - Dark Knight Style - 'the Arkham Files' #03
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Dark Knight
Creator:Birdman
Date Added:February 27, 2010
Base Figure:Spider-Man 'Norman Osbourne' Body & Peter Parker Head.
Height:5.00 inches
Riddle me this, riddle me that...

The Riddler is a mad genius, a mad 'thinker' of sorts, not much of a fighter or an extroverted person. I thought of going all the way - making the Riddler an autist/savant genius kind of person. Obsessed with counting and numbers he uses every piece of paper and even his body and clothes to go through the numbers of the greatest riddle of them all. Who is Batman and how can he be defeated.

The custom was pretty simple - a Norman Osbourne body (I loved the hands and the slim overall appearance) with a Peter Parker head and lots of color.

Painted with Citadel colors and sealed.

Stay tuned for more...

I get my boxer shorts at K-mart in Cincinnati. 400 Oak Street. Definitely. "Who's on First? What's on Second?" I second on the 'Hey, Mr. Tally-Man'... Reminds of 'Matrix-code Smith' figure at first (IDEA...?)

The paint job is nice but this isn't The Riddler in any way.

I like this design. However, I think the Tally marks should have been replaced with question marks. The tally marks make him look too much like Victor Zsasz. Those are sort of his symbol, with the question mark naturally being Ridler's.

we saw Victor Zsasz in batman begins but he was just a butcher for the mob and we didn't even see any tattoos on his body or anything
but this makes the best ridler I've ever seen (in a custom and if it were in the move or comic book)

This is a cool concept, and a cool custom, but you have to remember batman already has a villain, Victor Zsasz, who has these score markings across his body (to tally his victim numbers). He was even seen in the Dark Knight.
Paints are great here though!
