This is Mr. Freeze from 'The Arkham Files', a custom figure series showcasing Batman villains in a more realistic way or if you like 'the Chris Nolan style', that we might see in a further movie sequel.

Mr. Freeze is probably one of the more 'unrealistic' Batman villains of the bunch, yet he's one of the most interessting. My original idea was to make him some sort of serial killer that hangs his victims in an abandoned meat plants cold storage. That would work on film, but not in a toy so I decided to do him more traditionally...

A fine role for Willem Dafoe.

The armored suit was a Titanium Man from the Iron Man movie toy series, the ice bolt launcher was made from a nail gun from an American Psycho Patrick Bateman and the head has a Green Goblin from Spider-Man with the hair sanded down.

All painted with Citadel colors and sealed.

Stay tuned for the next figures from this series.

I agree with crimsonvampyre that the design of this figure looks great, but would not work for a Nolan film. The suit is still too high-tech and sci-fi looking. I like the original idea you came up with if he were to be used for a Nolan film, despite the idea not working in toy form. I think this would have been a great design for a none-Nolan Batman film. Definitely beats the look of Mr. Freeze in Batman & Robin.

I really like the look of this custom, although I think if they did him on film he would have to have a less...sci-fi looking suit. As a toy it looks great, but in a Chris Nolan Batman film I don't think it would work.
I also like the use of the Norman Osborn head. Adding some goggles would really throw it over the edge of coolness though.
Although I've been saying for years that Mr Freeze should be played by John Malkovich. Don't believe me? Watch Shadow of the Vampire, also starring Willem Dafoe believe it or not.
Malkovich plays a cruel, calculating german who constantly wears a white lab coat and black goggles. All he needed was to be shaven bald!
