Yeah, yeah, I know, there're lots of leonidas custom here in the realm, but hey! I know there's still room for another one. I wanna join those guys who already made one! :)

Maybe each of us should make our own leonidas or 300 custom, meet up, build an army of 300 spartan (action figure) soldiers, take a group picture of the whole lot, and make those persians and immortals soil their own pants! Haha!

It's one of my favorite movies so I felt like I had to make a king leonidas action figure. And since the neca leonidas figure is a bit pricey and it has useless articulation, I just made one myself with fodder parts that were available at that time. (Right now, he stands courageously in my display cabinet fighting off hordes of zombies... Hehe!)

Base figure:
Head / cape: magneto
Body: wrarrl
Weapons/shield: built from scratch

-Sculpted the beard, moustache, hair. Used the lid of hair wax canister as base for the shield then sculpted the details on it, added matchsticks to replicate broken arrows that are stuck on his shield, sculpted the sword with bbq stick as base. Also used bbq stick for the spear and used a cut off portion of the blade of my cutter as the tip/blade of the spear and tied it in place. The cape was also retouched and sculpted a bit. Helmet was from re-sculpted wrarrl figure.

"Ano'ng havaianas!?!? This is spartaaaaaan!

(Sorry about the last line, that was a personal joke that only filipinos would understand... Awooooo! Awoooo! Awoooo!) Haha!
