Base figure was a WWE Deluxe Aggression figure, sculpted the helmet over the head to be permanent. used mighty putty, vinyl, toothpicks for the spikes and a hose I had in my fodder box to make this thing. I was going to make it removeable but the person who wanted the figure didn't care if it was or not, because she liked the visor and spikes. used rubber band for the chest straps and belt. punched out holes in the straps for the spiked(toothpicks). sculpted the pants and the boots. wire was used around the boots and front of pants with rubber to make the crotch guard. the hands are interchangeable with the boxing gloves by "rare earth magnets". painted the cobra logos on the gloves... I really would love to get one of those mini printers to be able to print out waterslide decals or something. primed this figure solid black and drybrushed/airbrushed it with various effects to make him look a little worn to match the Croc Master figure she also has from me. He was pretty fun to make. thanks for looking...ff! about Big Boa: Big Boa had ten years' experience of training Cobra Troopers and was supremely confident in his ability to subdue all opponents in physical combat. His boasts did not impress many, including Destro Please wait... |

issaim98... well, I don't know about that, but thank you for thinking so
GOLIATH_CUSTOMS... you give me way too much accolades, my friend. it's easy to paint ugly. I can't paint pretty, clean and nice like You, LC, stevid and bunch others do
Cerebus... thank you my friend. Glad you liked him!
pulpy fiction... WOW! great comment, pulpy! I'm glad you like the paint apps, I was afraid it wouldn't go over too good with the weathering look, but I had to make it match with the Croc Master. Yeah, I put some magnets with these gloves so they will be harder to lose...lol! from someone who Loves BIG BOA as much as you, this means a lot!
loosecollector... thanks Dave! I always appreciate your comments too!
and a few more pics...
On a side note, this was one of my favourite joe figures, the one thing about this guy myself and those I knew who had it, either lost the gloves or the rubber tore.
Big Boa, Croc Master, Road Pig, Zartan, Destro, Storm Shadow etc, etc... Cobra had the WAAAY cooler characters. Mr fastfreddie you pulled of that coolness with this figure in bucket loads!
