After discovering the ability to travel between parallel realities, Blayne realized the horrors that exist beyond our simple world: all Earth-based worlds of fiction exist in tandem with our own. In order to spare his Earth from the horrors of the multiverse, he wanders between worlds, exploring horizons we can only imagine. This custom of myself was created with: -ML SMC Daredevil (upper torso, lower abdomen / modified) -MM Joker Goon (upper arms) -Doctor Who 9th Doctor (leather jacket's fore arms / modified) -MEZCO (NECA?) The Spirit - Shirt Collar/neck -Random double-sided joint for the neck -DC Direct Books of Magic Tim Hunter (head / resculpted) -LOTR Legolas (Right hand) -Movie Cyclops (Left Hand + rare earth magnet embeded in palm) -ML Faceoff Jigsaw (pelvis, upper legs, holster, gun) -ML Series 6 Punisher (leg below knee, but above cut joint) -ML Movie Punisher (Ammo clips, knees, legs after cutjoint) -ML Random figure (upper portion of lower legs) -Terminator: Salvation figure (Jacket) -LCBH Ann O'Brien (shoes, repainted) -Custom made water slide decals (Testor white decal paper) The rest of the detail (tie, vest, clothing ripples) is sculpted using Aves Sculpt, with modifications to the plastic base done using my dremmel so the pant seams matched. I embeded small magnets in the handle of the gun + left hand for. This was for a future PRIMEVAL-style "portal" casting effects. This also allows the figure to grasp other magnetic accessories (knives, crowbar, flask) with his open hand. This figure is painted with Vallejo Acrylics, and sealed with liquid type Krazyglue superglue + Vallejo Matte finish varnish. I figured out a new method of painting faces with this figure based on Jin's eye-painting tutorial + some Warhammer painting advice I found via 'Toycutter'. I think it worked out really well: -Base color (flat flesh + some rose) -Dwarf flesh + flat flesh for under the eyes -2 levels of flat flesh + white for highlighting (nose, cheeks, chin) Instead of the original WIP shot, I've added some of the reference pictures I used while sculpting/painting. I figured that a parallel universe version of myself would wear contacts. ^_^ To produce the patches/buttons (Canadian flag, Military Engineer pin, and Clockwork assembly pin), I scanned my actual jacket, then tweaked/printed them on Testor water slide paper at a 6" figure scale using Photoshop. I hope you enjoy this figure. It'll be hanging out with the rest of my collection for many years to come. -Blayne ![]() |

yes btw ud make an awsome doctor who...
but I can't tell if this figure looks like the real you coz you didn't even include your own personal photo.
well, at the caliber of your customizing skill, (based on what I see on your entry figure) I'm guessing that you also have the talent to sculpt the face and I'm guessing (again) that it really resembles the real you. congrats!
