Well first off I'd like to state this is the first custom I've ever done...so I know it's not masterful work, but I thought it turned out good.

I started with the classic Bebop figure, though...hmmm...he's small and un-threatening, so I wanna make him more imposing. The body was a Marvel Legends Maestro figure...missing one hand...so I managed to get a hand off of a Todd McFarlane Poacher figure from Total Chaos, the skull around the neck and the tail also came from that figure. The chains were from Home Depot, the sword/sheath/gun were from a huge box of weapons and stuff, and the vest from a wrestler (after cutting it into pieces)...a little painting, a little scuplting and a head off of the original figure and voila he is complete.

Anyways, thanks for stopping by, and I hope to add more figures in the future as my skills, fodder and accessories increase.

Did you give the head a good wash before painting it?, most figures have chemical residue left on them from the moulding process that can stop paint from sticking. Washing up liquid and a toothbrush usually works for me.

Originally I tried to paint the head the same color, but for some reason it wasn't coating right, I use Testors: Model Master: Acryls, but for some reason it wasn't staying when I painted the whole head, so I stripped the paint away and kind of dry brushed the colors along the ridges of the head, and it actually looks like the head blends more so with the body, before I took the pictures...I'd love any advice on the painting tho.

That's pretty cool man. two suggestions though maybe paint the head to be the head to be the same colour as the body and secondly, I would take the shoulder pads off the vintage one and attach them some way. Great idea though!!
