A new take on Punisher 2099 that isn't crappy. Jake Gallows entered Shield's Special Research And Defense Technologies branch in 2050 as one of the best and brightest students that Nick Fury had ever seen. After several years of dedicated service he was badly injured in a fight against a radical religious group in the recently purchased Free Canadian Territories. He is put into stasis for what is supposed to be only a few months while his body heals. Sadly he ends up on ice for 49 years. During this time a new terrorist group made of mutants and others disenfranchised by the world comes to power and to prove they are serious they activate an ancient space weapon from the 1980s that shuts down all but the most shielded electrical devices on earth. Millions die instantly and the world is thrown into a new dark age. Shield manages to rally a few remaining orbital drop ships and take out the main part of the group.
Unknown to anyone it is at this point that the United States government shows it's true colors by devastating it's enemies, and some allies, with bio and neutron weapons to gain dwindling resources. It begins a campaign of terror within North America as it wipes out anyone who even slightly speaks against them. Millions within the US territories die within the first 3 years. A resistance is born but struggles and the effects of the plagues come back to bite the US. It turns out that the vaccines they made were made by the lowest bidders or by companies that were part of Hydra and other groups. Add to this radiation induced mutation and the world soon lost another 60% of it's population.
In 2099 Jake awakens when the stasis facility he is in loses power due to the impact of space debris that destroys the underground plant on the ocean bottom. All the others in the facility have died years before and the AI running the facility struggles to save Jake by keeping him sedated and replacing much of his damaged, but healed, parts with cybernetics. Jake has a collar implanted around his neck with all of the knowledge in the Shield databases and the repositories of information from around the world. He manages to stay in the deep sea facility for a week before the backup power begins to fail. The AI is uploaded to his collar as a partner and it is during the slow rise to the surface in an emergency pod that Jake comes across something in the databases he has access to. A diary and entries by Frank Castle also known before his death in 2033 as the Punisher.
Upon reaching the surface he is amazed by what he sees. When he entered the facility it was off the coast of a vast city but now the city is almost entirely taken over by a forest and mutated plants can be seen even floating on the ocean. It is during a trip, using a vehicle salvaged from the Shield vault on land, into the city that he sees the injustice of this new world as former soldiers and gangs fight over clean supplies and murder anyone not in their group, even eating them. It is as he holds a young woman, dying from a gunshot, who he fails to save that he decides that the world needs a new hero. Someone who won't take prisoners and who will restore something like justice. The world needs a Punisher. Using some paint he found he crudely fashions himself an outfit that looks like Frank Castles but is made of nano-weave ballistics armor that Shield had bene field testing in the years prior to his accident.

The recipe is pretty simple. The body is a N2 Neo figure, the head is from a LOTR figure, the hair is hot glue (a first try), the hands are held on by magnets in case I want to make more hands with weapons. I have a plan for attachments for internal weapons house in his cybernetics. The hands I'm not really sure what figure they're from. The skull I wanted to look like it was done in a rush, it was done with a Elmer's Painters paint marker I swiped from my dad's craft supplies. I put some areas on his face that are darker tones of flesh to represent scars or burns since I'm not all that sure on how to do them otherwise (and my scars are always darker than the rest of me)
