After a long hiatus, I have returned. Dredd here began as a sideshow body, an old Horizon vinyl Judge Dredd Model (love those Horizon kits) and the bodysuit from an 8" Cyclops I found at target. The body was tall and lean, perfect for that Eastwood look I always thought he should have, so it needed no modification. The model was heated with a blow dryer and cut up into pieces, such as the badge, belt and boot pads. I took the motorcycle boots from the most recent 12" cobra commander, painted them lizard green and glued the aforementioned pads on, as well as the boot holster front and an opening pouch for a collapsible knife. The helmet came from the same commander figure, some details from the model and a colored piece of plastic from a soda bottle. The gun came molded into the figure's hand, so I took the top and gave it a new handle. One custom head (glued into the helmet)and a 21st century cop baton later and there he was! The bike was pieced together from scraps and an old 1/6 scale Harley I had kicking around. I routed a light through so the headlight works. Awesome to be back.
