What remains of the cyborg soldiers stalk the Tex-Amerikana wastes, seeking to fulfill their last programmed task. Like landmines of wars long past, the Wasteland Cyborgs represent a persistent threat to any who date enter the former North American block. Recipe: -ML Faceoff Redskull (collar, neck, head - jaw removed, resculpted) -Gears of War figure (backpack, resculpted) -Movie Iron Man Mk1 (back container, left forearm) -Movie Iron Man 'Titanium Man' (upper torso, upper legs and below) -LCBH Superpatriot/masked v. (hip ball joints, large gun, right elbow) -XMC Angel (mid-torso shell, dremmeld out/superglued around the random rocker joint) -Random ML rocker-torso joint (rejigged into the dremmeled out shell of the XMC Angel ab-section) -1/2 ball-cup rocket/swivel socket (heavily modified) from Movie Titanium man's midsection -DC Superheroes Bizarro (left fist) -Doctor Who space suit figure (ribbed flexible tubing) HML Ultimate Iron Man (lower pelvis, dremmeled out to just the hips) -McFarlane TX Endoskeleton (smaller wires) -Headphone cable (mid-sized, smooth abdomen-wires) -NECA Terminator Endoskeleton (skull-field display) -Hobby knife, Gel Type Superglue, and Aves Sculpt. I spent a few hours cutting away at the figure with a hobby knife to add the various scars, pitting, and fractures present in the figures armor and face. Aves sculpt was used on the back, upper torso, chest, and extensively in the torso/pelvis. The figure maintains full articulation, and gained additional posability from the rocker/swivel joint system I put together. To set the various cables in the torso, I drilled inset holes into the Aves sculpt, heated each cable with a hairdryer and superglued them in. I was really happy that my plan of anchoring the cables between the pelvis and the 'umbrella' 1/2 ball cup joint worked - the cables flex and movie a bit when you pose the figures upper torso. -Vallejo acrylic paints, and Citadel washes/inks (Red, Sepia, Flesh Wash, Black). The final result has zero paint rub, and sports a great matte finish (Vallejo Varnishes). This was a project I'd wanted to create for some time. I hope you like him. :) ![]() |

Thanks for all the votes and positive comments guys! It's really appreciated. This is actually one of my finished custom figures I brough with me in my carry on when I moved to Mok Po City, South Korea to teach English. I'll be heading home tonight knowing this guys a winner - both to me, and to the voter at F.R.
Again, thanks!
Cheers,
