I am a big fan of Skottie Young and Iron Man. Put the two together and it was a custom I had to do. This Iron Man is based on the Armored Adventures cover Skottie did. He is mostly sculpted head to toe. I had to extend the upper arms and make the feet much smaller. To make up for stability the bottom of the legs are a little thicker therefore heavier and still stay pretty accurate to the artwork.
Sculpted the hands from scratch. I hand stitched the back pack from some faux leather and super glued the pockets on. I added a black pen and 2 pencils sticking out of the back pocket. I made two face plates. One face plate is accurate to the show and resembles the action figure almost identically and the other matches the style of Skottie's Iron Man. I plan to make 2 more face plates later that will allow him to change face expressions. The face plates can be stored in the backpack.
