Dripping horrors seen in Konami's 1990 Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) video gam--they appear in many of the other Castlevania titles, in various forms, as well. Mud Men can only be encountered in the Marsh Land level, where they rise out of the muck to assail Trevor Belmont and his allies at every opportunity. While Mud Men can be easily destroyed, they are infinite in number--no matter how many you splatter, more will surface to take their place, so cross the fetid waters quickly to escape their gooey clutches. Fortunately, Mud Men cannot venture out of the mires they inhabit.
