Basically I had an old Spiderman lying about that had a back-pack that could be used to spray water. I removed the back-pack and decided to create a Scarlet Spider. This is my first custom so I decided to use the three different sculpting clay I bought.
I had to change the legs as the ones originally on the figure were withered away and broken. I made the leg buckles out of aves apoxie and I made the belt and the webbing around his wrists out of sculpey sculpt so it had to be baked. The collar and the ripped parts of his shirt were made from fixit sculpt. I repainted the whole figure but the only thing I don't like is the definition of the belt. Other than that I'm quite proud of my first custom and hope to be adding more in a months or two =].
Also I was thinking would it hav been wiser if I used sculpting clay to make the emblem on his chest...?
