Wow, ok this was the hardest and most fun custom I have done to date! I loved the movie district 9 and thought I'd give this guy a go! He is a lot of scratch building but his major contributing parts were a thundercracker 2007 movie toy, 1/2 of a broken bionicle, some chopsticks, sheet plastic and a lot of time and patience! Lots of painting and texturing done to make it look like is was not in the showroom quality condition. He is about as poseable as you would want, ball jointed shoulders and elbows, ratcheted hips and double jointed knees, ankles. He can pretty much do what movvie pose you would want, or at least I think you would want. He is roughly in scale with 3 3/4" figures so I think he should fit in quite nicely.
