Here comes the next challenger....Takuma sakazaki.
Takuma is a playable character from snk's fighting video game series art of fighting and king of fighters.

The kyokugenryu master takuma sakazaki is the owner of the failing kyokugenryu dojo and father to ryo and yuri sakazaki. Takuma is a strict teacher and even stricter parent as from the shadows in some sneaky way he tries to manuver his kids into taking the path he believes is the right one. Once forced to become a gangland enforcer by geese howard and mr. Big threatening his childern, he donned the mask of mr. Karate and began to develop a split personality. Takuma was freed from this evil servitude by his kids and students. Seeing his children were strong enough to fight takuma’s enemies, he no longer had to fear for their safety. With that out of the way, takuma’s plan was make his dojo famous and successful by joining great tournaments and getting his dojo’s name in the spotlight. Thus, takuma joined the king of fighters in 1994 and started the kyokugenryu team that consisted of ryo sakazaki, robert garcia and himself. Falling short of his goal in 1994, takuma joined again in the 95 tournament before giving his place to his daughter yuri in 1996. Takuma in 1998 with two other concerned individuals named heidren and seisyu made the fathers team to protect their kids from the bosses team. After that tournament the fathers team never joined together again, but takuma did return to the king of fighters in 99, 2000, 2001 and 2002.
Takuma's fighting style is shoran principle of kyokugenryu karate.

Takuma sakazaki was customized from a sota street fighter revolutions dan hibiki figure and sculpting (started working on a mr. Karate alternate head, but gave up due to time constraints…maybe one day).

Customizer side note: here is my new king of fighters team for the month of june (yes, june I know it’s a month late, I blame seisyu and the person who was his character designer), the fathers team for father’s day featuring heidren, takuma sakazaki, and seisyu kusanagi. All in all I don't have much to say about this team as everything came together perfectly with the look and scale. The main reason for the lateness was seisyu kusanagi, this custom took me two weeks just in the planing stage with the odd pieces needed to put his look together and three weeks in executing them into the custom you see in the pictures. July’s team is really coming; I’m working on it as I write this, see you soon.
