Bishamon, for my darkstalkers set and custom no. 47, took a lot of time, effort, patience, and craftiness to get done... That, and two days worth of painting. Truth be told, a year ago, I started using this base for a totally different project (will be done shortly) that I scraped and started again with a new recipe. At that point, this figure was pretty mangled and I wasn't sure if I would have to consider it a write-off or not until I decided to start doing a darkstalkers line. I'm really having fun doing these slightly more super-natural characters, and I love their vibrant color pallets; it is a real treat to be working on these characters! The breakdown for the build is as follows:

head: sota m. Bison w/sodom helmet, cvssnk2 haomaru ponytail, wd40 nozzle, and bailing twine for the strap
upper body: sota sodom with heavy sculpting and cutting, and bone pieces from various figures and accessories
arms: sota guile w/sculpt and sword from cvssnk2 haomaru
legs: (upper) sota sodom, (lower + feet) sota blanka with heavy cutting, cardboard and bailing twine for the sandals and straps
armor: cardboard and wax board with elastics armbands, making them removable, and bailing twine for waist and hip plates

so there you have it! Like I said, he was a very taxing figure to make, but I did my best to try and capture the details, like in the maw of the armor and the binding on the sandals. I'm very proud of this one, and I hope you all like him as I do. Back with more soon! Cheers,
