Zombie: The Businessman (Walking Dead) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:14702
Name:Zombie: The Businessman
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Walking Dead
Creator:Briightcore Toys
Date Added:May 15, 2009
Base Figure:ML Simon Gareth Zombie From The Monsters Box Set
Height:6.00 inches
After reading 5+ trade paperback volumes of Robert Kirkman's Zombie epic, "The Walking Dead" I decided to create a few reanimated dead myself. I was also inspired by the Zombie-army scene in the Ghost Rider comic where part of the Devil possess the corpse of (the recently deceased) "Mad Jack".

-Using a Simon Gareth Zombie figure, I dremmeled out both eyes for a dried, sunken look.
-Removed the existing hair, and attached LotR Aragorn hair
-Used an extra MM Joker Goon suit Jacket, suitably 'ripped' up using my hobby knife
-Lower arms from a ML Professor X
-Shoes from a ML Movie Logan/Wolverine figure
-Cut the tie pieces from a fodder cape (a BAF Ronin cloak I wasn't needing)
-Cellphone accessory came from a McFarlane X-Files Movie Dana Scully

I repainted the zombie's skin tone to be gray, and dry brushed on various layers of grey-blue, grey-green, and three different shades of dirt on the hands, knees, and upper chest.

-The figure's base-stand was originally a standard ML base. I added a layer of hobby plaster, sanded it down, and painted it black. Three layers of Grey-Blue dry brushing later, I sealed it with a coat of Krazyglue-superglue, and x2 coats of Vallejo Matte finish varnish to prevent wear. :)

I have plans for about 2 more - a Jackson 'Thriller' zombie (with the sunken eyes), and another, more decayed looking one. Once my workbench is cleared, I'll be working on those next.

Thanks Renmauzo, on both accounts. I don't know how anyone can spend hours making a custom, only to post a poor picture of it. I made a custom light box from a cardboard box, bristol board, and 3 sheets of tracing paper to diffuse lamp light. Works like a charm. ^_^

The zombie duo that you've done here are great, and the pictures that you've taken are fantastic. Keep up the great work!
