Bengali (Thundercats) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:14270
Name:Bengali
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Thundercats
Creator:Darththomas
Date Added:April 24, 2009
Base Figure:WWE deluxe aggression Hardcore Holly
Height:9.00 inches
My Sixth thundercat started life as a WWE deluxe aggression Hardcore Bob Holly. I swapped the head with a Curt Hawkins figure as Bob had a bit of a stupid look on his face. I cut the hair off and the laces on the boots. I then sculpted over the boots and the bottoms of his shorts. After it hardened I filed it all down to create a seamless change from plastic to apoxy. I then sculpted his hair and tops of his boots. Next was the feet so I cut chunks from the toe and heel and sculptd them back in. For his toe nails I used some fingers off an old marvel scorpion figure. Sculpted the shoulder pads too. After all that was done I started experimenting with his harness/bandolier/straps. I tried cable ties, rubber gloves and bits off other figures but in the end I decided to just sculpt them on and used a pocket off a batman as his belts pocket. For his hammer I used a random one I had cut the top out and sculpted the bottom jaw. For the top bit I used a head off a Go-bot (at least I think it was it said Takara playskool on it and it was some sort of transformer) as it was cat like enough. For the paints I used games workshop. The base blue was my own mix dry brushed over with Ice blue. The white bits are ice blue dry brushed with skull white. Thanks for looking. Any comments/ improvements welcomed

I am really enjoying seeing your Thundrcats Customs - I really like using the WWE Deluxe figures as a base, great articulation and they paint really well!
