Since Mattel has been screwing up a bit and would let us wait for millennia to have DCUC Martian Manhunter (wave 20? oh, for heaven’s sake!), hence, the decision to make my own one. I just so hope I have given J’onn a justice.
My friend and I went toy hunting the other day, we found Red Tornado looking pretty bored. Surprisingly, he telepathically summoned me to turn him into Martian Manhunter. I’m so getting mental now, lol. Since he was priced fairly high for a loose, the hardest part was getting him at a cheaper outlay. So, together with my friend’s charm and wit, and our ability to spellbind the not-so-seemingly-gullible lady, looked as if enjoying our anecdote in customizing and collecting, we got him and the other items at a low-low price.
Head sculpting was the most difficult part in the process, but at the end of the day, by looking at it, I’d say “hmm… not bad,” considering having no real talent and the fact that relatively, being impatient on this craft, I seemed to be quite delighted. I wanted to make the details to become somewhat like “hey-I’m-so-dry-brushed-and-loot-at-my-martian-muscles” really. However, if I’d do that, J’onn would have been too “alienated,” enjoying his Martian-ness, not-so-Mattel-made, ayt? I want the dry-brush part to be a li’l bit subtle as compared to other DCUC’s.

Please wait...
yeah definitely we will be getting both in no time! Rumor has it that this year "the last of his kind (a clue given by Matty)" will be included in the upcoming waves, which I hope not a Wal-Mart exclusive.
you did him more than justice,it dosent even look like a custom!
