Here's another one down and now only 3 to go! It's Yun, custom no. 33 for me, and despite the size, this one was a b**ch to do. Funilly enough, this one has been sitting on the back burner since last summer, and I'm not quite sure why I didn't go back to finish him until now, but that aside, the build breaks down like this:
I did a head swap from a Sota Fei Long onto a Sota Gen body, sculpted a hat, and added the pig tail from a Capcom Queens Cammy as his ponytail. I then dremmeled down the body and swapped the arms from the same Fei Long, but kept the Gen hands and sculpted on the cuffs and finger loops. I added the strip down the middle and made the ties out of rubber band pieces. The robe was cut to the appropriate length and sliced down the middle in front. After a little more sculpt here and there, the paint app was done (quite possibly the hardest paint app I've attempted) and I picked up one of those Tech Deck skateboards to go along with him.
Because all I had when I started this figure was the alt. Fei long head, (the yelling one) I wanted to make everything about this figure as dynamic as possible like the hands, the arc of the ponytail, and the posing for the pics. I think he's pretty cool, and I hope you like him to, and with that, I will be back with more soon!
