The stone wall of the cave was made from, in Germany it`s called "STYRODUR". It will be taken to insulate walls from heat and coldness by building houses. You will get it in every home depot. I cut the stone out of it with a scalpel. Than I sprayed it with an solvent base black color. So you will get a real stone look. After that was dry I dry brushed it with midnight blue. The stairs were cut with a table circle saw from MDF. I painted them only with solvent base black color. The memorials were made from a 4" drainpipe, which I cut with a table circle saw in two halfs and lenght them to 6" long pieces. The base and the top were made from MDF. The front is made from plexiglass and the frame is cut from white plastic. The lamps are small diodes which become the power from a 9 volt battery. Since everything was primed I painted it, glued the figures in with super glue and fixed the frame on the plexiglass also with super glue. Both parts were fixed on the base and top with transparent silicone. Batsi: Dremeled of his lips and sand it smooth. Robin: Dremeled of his lips and sand it smooth. Batgirl: Hawkgirl base, dremeled of the details and replaced a TNBA Batgirl head and cape, lips were dremeled off and the boots and gloves were created with kneadadite. Nighrwing: Dremeled of his lips and snad it smooth. Batsi Beyond: Dremeled of his lips, create new ears and sand it smooth. Primed all figures and paint them. ![]() |

I wanted to do something kinda like your "memorial" thing..
but I wanted to used it for "Iron man armor"
but I really like what you did!
you should make an attempt at a 1966 batcave!
