Here are everybody's favorite twin speedster mutants from Canada, Northstar and Aurora! Both Jean-Paul and Jeanne-Marie Beaubier were charter members of Alpha Flight and have moved on to various teams individually, such as the X-Men (Northstar) and Weapon X (Aurora). For Northstar, I used ML Ant-Man as the base figure. I replaced the boots with ML Silver Surfer's. For Aurora, I used ML Spider-Woman for the body. I replaced the SW MAN HANDS! with Psylocke's. The hair is from X3 Jean Grey and the face is Psylocke. The boots are from Warbird/Ms Marvel (Originally I kept the SW boots, but it made her look too tall as compared with her brother). Finally, I added label tape for the costumes and added more plastic to their hair to make longer 'bangs'. Photos by Nara.  Please wait... |

Update Your Custom
As for label tape: I use it to create emblems, or for colour separation on a costume. In the past, I used to free-hand paint the costume designs. That lead to a lot of headaches because of the constant touch-ups due to colour 'bleeds'. Now I just glue on the tape and the painting is a lot easier. For the white on the costume, I use white primer. I like it 'cause it's less shiny. I spray-painted the gloves and boots and hand-painted the bodies.
