LOL
Yeah, you have to heat to body and they pop out, a lot of DC Direct figures are the same way, I love these kind of shoulders.

the best reference I can give for the shoulder cups is a ML Bullseye since most customizers are familar with that body. Bullseyes are way to small for this job of course, but the piece that his shoulder balls plug into are what I'm talkin' about. This Jug was almost a Gamma infected WWII Cap which is a cool idea I think- don't know if I get to it now but I'd love to see one done. I'm working on a Gamma infected Punisher right now. I'm under the firm belief that a gamma infected anything = coolness- ie. gamma infected Deadpool, gamma infected Cap, gamma infected house cat lol

I was just looking at my akuma and saying that they were a little too small and that must have been some major sculpting...lol. Birdie seems more like it. Now I have to go buy a Birdie. When you say "shoulder cups" are you talking about the shoulder and peg that the arm pops onto? I gotta get my juggs to look like this. He is so sad looking right now.
I was just thinking that this base would be kinda cool to make a hulked out Captain America. Like the spider-hulk figure. Just looked perfect with the head and boots. If someone takes my idea, I better get some props! Although the figure itself is a bit small but with those arms, maybe it would work.

Correction- the arms are from a Street Fighter Birdie figure.

The arms are from a Street Fighter Akuma with some sculpting. We chopped off his crappy arms at the shoulder, and then dremeled out the shoulder sockets until there was nothing left but holes. Then we took some ML shoulder cups from a Maestro Hulk, dremled them way down to shape, fit them in, and apoxied everything smooth around the edges. You wouldn't have to use Maestro Hulk shoulder cups, any ML figure with that type of shoulder attachments could provide the right pieces, provided the shoulder cups are big enough. Once the apoxy is dry it's just a matter of gettin' him hot and poppin' the arms in. We use this method every now and then, it keeps you from having to crack the whole figure appart and is a much less risky operation.

Nice Custom. Where are those arms from and how did you exchange them with the crappy arms that came with the figure? I was disappointed when I opened my figure and the arms did not turn at the bicep/shoulders.
