This figure is based on the 1980's style costume Colossus wore and is as close to model as I could get it. I first removed all the excess plastic and applied magic Sculpt resin to smooth out the chest, shoulder and hands. I next built up the gloves using the same resin and trimmed the edges with a knife as it dried. After all the resin work was done, I glued straps on the boots and gloves and began painting the figure. Once the that was complete, I sealed the figure with Dullcote.
