Been trying to built a MvC set for a while, most of the characters have figures or are easy enough customs, but the Sentinel, being a Capcom design is neither.
There's a fair share of customs of him on the internet, so I took the challenge and started researching some bases and landed on the Lightyear movie Zyclops, he had that round shape, stocky build and was well enough articulated, it seemed like the perfect base and an easy enough custom.............let's just say it was a whole lot of sculpting and sanding.
I have sculpted roughly every surface of his body, only his thighs and back are intact, everything else was modified in some way, not only that but his bead, hands and feet were 100% made from scratch. It was a lot of work that in the end, I think payed off, I love everything about him and he looks so good next to my other Capcom marvel figures
