Johnathon Ohnn was trying to replicate the powers of Cloak (of Cloak and Dagger). He created a portal into another dimension, and entered it. When he returned, many portals were now part of him, which he could detach from his body, and enter. This being comics, he naturally became a costumed adventurer, with a penchant for crime. This led him into battle with Spider-Man many times.
As soon as I saw Zero in the Wolverine 5-pack, I knew I had to make the Spot. I recently acquired another Zero, so production began. Not that there was that much to do, just paint some black shapes. On the bigger spots, I liberally applied the paint in stages, to create a spiral effect.
