Pretty basic custom but I love the results. Recently jakks released multiple older Mario figures with updated leg engineering. I found an Ice Mario and a regular color version, removed the heads, painted the blue darker on Ice Mario, and swapped out the head for the regular colored version. Painting it was a bit of a chore for me as I am used to making customs using soft goods with little painting involved. After paint was dry I used Tamiya TS-80 Flat Clear Coat to give the figure a more premium finish.

Also, just for fun I sprayed the same clear coat onto an unaltered Mario figure. In my opinion it became a great alternative to the figuarts version for a combined price of about 20 dollars.
