This is my first custom, so picked a simple one. Minor alterations to Black Series Dark Rey. Sandblast effect made with polyester batting, hot glue, paint, and alcohol ink.

Painted the belt red, added a modesty panel in the same color to the v-neck; not visible but I know it's there. The niqab is glued on to keep down the bulk. (If I find fabric I like better, I'll redo it.)

The sleeves are basically a poncho, to look more in keeping with what an observant Afghani woman would wear.

For the face, I thickened the brows and added eyeliner.
