John Greycrow first appeared as a member of Mr. Sinister's Marauders. Along with his teammates, he slaughtered a lot of Morlocks, mutants living in the sewers. It was later revealed that he was a clone created by Sinister, returned to life when he died. Subsequent Scalphunter clones tried to break free of Sinister's mental programming instilled in them, to try to live more honourable lives. But Mr. Sinister keeps popping back up in his life, er, lives.
When I saw the long-haired Tony Stark, I knew I wanted him as Scalphunter. A lot of work was done to lengthen the hair and alter the face and moustache. The base body is Kraven. The various weapon pieces that make up his costume/armour are fodder weapons and various pieces of plastic. I basically threw the kitchen sink into that costume!
