This was not a great arc. Ultimate X-Men did a lot of really cool things over the years, including showing that any roster of X-Men works as the First Class, and letting the team get captured by the Weapon X Program. Another really cool idea was Ultimate Cable. Instead of making him the child of Cyclops, he's Wolverine from the future. And this could have been a great Days of Future Past type moment. Cable is trying to stop the apocalypse, but the X-Men manage to stop him, while also getting a heads up on the future. Then, we slowly see the future coming to pass. I mean, the guy has a metal arm, claw marks across his face, and his healing factor is pretty much gone. Would have been cool to see how that happened. Instead, they did it all in the arc, crammed in a weak Stryfe variant, jobbed out X-Force, and resolved everything immediately. It set up Apocalypse, but I think that's about it. A great idea, but too rushed. It felt like the moment they stopped asking, "What's a cool way to reimagine this?" and started asking, "What's the craziest thing we can do with this character?"
Right hand was from a BossFight male blank. Claws were Marauder swords, cut down and glued in place. Head was also from a BossFight male blank. Sculpted the left arms, gloves, boots, knees, left leg strap and right leg pouch, pouches on the waist, and the entire vest. From there, a full repaint, and all done!
