So this is my take on Mammoth of the Shi’ar Imperial Guard. He had the distinction of being a Super Guardian whatever that meant. He lasted all of 2 issues appearance and death. One of the first victims of Cassandra Nova. He’s more or less a “red shirt” of the Shi’ar.

Body is a Marvel Legends Rhino with a headsculpt of a wooly mammoth by a guy named paulscustoms on Instagram. Used a variety of acrylic paints to try and match the color of the Rhino body. Head is a little light. Used some creative license on the head and eye color. Gave him red eyes with a mix of a glow in the dark paint because what other eye color would a giant alien elephant have?

Included are the 2 panels featuring Mammoth, debut in New X-Men 117 and death 5 issues later in issue 122.
