When the last ronin run was first going, I immediately fell in love with the concept, and the character design was awesome. This is in no way comic accurate, but I made my own version of this crazy concept.
I think this is full kitbash/engineering (I sculpted the mask with green stuff). It is a very fun bash though!
Base body : marvel legends frogman
Lower arms & lower legs: tmnt vs Batman Raphael
Hands and feet: Same as above
Head: neca ninja turtles comic version Leonardo
Back shell & chest plate shell: same as above
Shield shell: loyal subjects best axn tmnt
Jacket: marvel legends thunderstrike with two 3D printed shoulder pads (one is a warthog, thought that was a nice Bebop nod)
Weapons come from various figures, marvel legends nunchuck, stab of hades staff, sai- unknown.
I painted his shell parts with a grey camo pattern, and tried to give each element its own power, while keeping him looking uniform throughout. When I mmm it came to it, I made his arms and legs just a little brighter but the head was painted dark to look like it’s under a hood. I realize I never painted the nunchuck, it’s something I will do.
This was a blast to make, and he has a very cool presence on my shelf.
