This is the “simplest” custom I’ve posted here, in terms of engineering/sculpting. But the formula made for a really nice product.
As soon as this figure was announced, this was the only thing I had in mind for him.
This is all marvel legends cry-star. No kitbash at all.
I cut the diamond shapes off the boots to give the classics ‘v’ boot style. The head was modified by gluing the helmet in place, and shaping the whole thing into a “head shape. Turns out when you remove that helmet, it’s straight to eyebrows. No forehead at all. So I cut, and sanded the helmet, and polished it back to original finish. Then I did the only sculpt work, which was the hair, and the small amount of chest armor.
Little paint was required. I made all the reds match, painted golds for chest and belt, black in the belt strap, and green in the hair.
Paints were p3, and greenstuffworld; sealed with mod podge matte spray.
