I really love the Mafex The Amazing Spider-Man figure, but I felt that I needed more characters from his rogues gallery. Spider-Man's my favorite superhero, by the way.
Unfortunately, Mafex keeps releasing more and more Spider-Men or alternate looks of him only.
Hopefully, sooner than later they will start producing other characters. Meanwhile, I decided to make them on my own, starting with my favorite one, the Green Goblin.
So here's the here's the final result of my Mafex style comic Green Goblin custom figure, with my own touch for the paint job.
I tried to make an updated version of the Toybiz Marvel Legends Series 13 figure, using the Mark Bagley's art style as inspiration as well.
I did use a Mafex Spider-Man figure as base and sculpted all the details over it. For the head, I used a Marvel Legends Cletus Kasady and resculpted it.
The glider was made from scratch, using cardboard and wood mainly. I also did sculpt the pumpkin bombs, the Goblin's bag and the flame effects for the glider.
