I bought the ML jumpsuit Red Skull with the intention to use the body for a Legion of Superheroes Brainiac 5 custom, but though the costume was perfect the size and build was too big to use for Braniac 5. Dejected, I started to just play around combining various things in my fodder bins together and this was the result (plus my painting the dark blue parts of Vulcan to black). I didn’t have any intention of making a Red Skull and I don’t display villains so this wasn’t an actual customizing attempt, just a fooling around thing. But I'll keep it for now and might as well make a character background for it. So....

After Red Skull was banished to the planet Vormir to be Stonekeeper to the Soul Stone as punishment for using the Tesseract, he found that his years as Stonekeeper gave him a bit of Cosmic Awareness. His desire for conquest was rekindled after Thanos claimed and later destroyed the Soul Stone, freeing him from its service. Still trapped on the planet, he reached out with Cosmic Awareness to explore the universe. In one of his meditations he learned of a Force that was prevalent a long long time ago in a galaxy far far away. The empire and denizens of that galaxy had long passed away but he learned of their technologies and weapons. More importantly he realized that the Force they used was just a different manifestation of Cosmic Awareness which he had access to. He thus mastered the use of the Force in short order.

He reached out with his Cosmic Awareness again and found in the Delta Quadrant of the Milky Way a Collective civilization who are part biological and part technological, cyBorgs. They had just begun to expand and conquer with great efficiency. Their use of cube shaped combat vessels reminded him of his beloved Tesseract Cosmic Cube. It must be destiny that led him to them. The Collective’s very ordered hive mind was easy for him to conquer through his use of Force mind control from afar. He summoned them to build for him the Force wielders' laser sword and a giant planet destroying Death Cube ship, and for them to come serve him at Vormir. He tested and refined his new Force powers and weapons in small battles and collected useful weapons from those he defeated. They were all stepping stones in his new ascendancy.

Now Johann Schmidt the Red Skull is ready to become Galactic Emperor. He shall lead his cyBorg army to conquest and have his revenge on his arch foes the Captain and his avenging allies. Earth shall fall. Resistance is futile.
