I found this Emma Frost statue a few years back secondhand at a convention for a fairly cheap price. It had lived a pretty rough life-the base was chipped, her nose was gone, eyebrows chipped and the paint was an absolute nightmare. I decided to try and work with it though.

The first step was filling in all the cracks in broken pieces with sculpty. I had to rebuild the nose and eyebrows almost completely from scratch and then sand them down multiple times until they were smooth with the rest of the figure.

I wanted to do something different, so instead of going with her traditional white clothes, I decided to go with a darker look. The entire statue was repainted including the flesh, hair, clothes and base. The lighter colors like the flesh and hair took numerous coats as always.

Overall, pretty happy with the restoration though.
