Wonderful. You figures kinda bum me out because Hasbro tried for the DC license before McFarlane got them. These ones in particular inspired me to make a bunch of characters I liked from DC in ML form. They should be going up here soon

Two of my favorite characters and they look amazing!!! What paint did you use on Booster? He really pops!!

Thanks. The gold on Booster is mixture of 2 parts Createx Pearlized Yellow + 1 part Vallejo Glorious Gold. The blue is an undercoat of Vallejo Electric Blue then a couple of coats of Createx Pearlized Blue on top. The Createx paints are primarily used for airbrushing though I use a brush. They have a good variety of colors in their Pearlized line but they're not that opaque so need several coats by themselves, or need a basecoat underneath. Their range of pearlized colors makes them good to mix with other metallic paints to get different colors. One thing to watch out for is they tend to smudge a bit onto your fingers even after they've dried, so if they're the topcoat they need to have a sealer put on them or you'll get some smudge on your fingers during handling then inadvertently transfer some of that over to other areas of the figure or other figures that you handle without washing your fingers.

Dude that Blue Beetle is fantastic. I love how the black outlines are raised. And that recipe for Booster is actually a work of genius. I'll definitely be taking some notes from that when I get around to Booster. Excellent excellent renditions of Blue and Gold.
