I wanted somewhere to display my Ectotron. While the Playmobil Firehouse is great, I felt it was a little too kiddie for what I wanted.
Some of the things I did to fix it up were
-Full repaint
-Added frosted plexiglass windows
-Made new working front doors
-Moved the pole for the hanging sign up
-Added the decorative keystone above the doors
-Had a friend print out the Hook & Ladder 8
-Cut out the window on the side door, it was just a sticker of a window
-Found some scaled down fencing for the window trim in the front
-Used some stud earrings for all the doorknobs
-Put some green flashing lights on the inside
-Cut the base plate so it would fit at a better angle on the shelf

Somethings I would like to do in the future is add a backdrop and a little bit of weathering to the sidewalk and street.
