One thing that really bugs me about comics is cover art. Now, I love awesome covers. I even like variant covers. But really, to me, a cover should be a one page example of what's inside. A tease of the story, and a tease of the art style. It always bugs me when the cover looks amazing, and then the art inside just doesn't match up. And the one time it really made me angry was Mutant X. Buffy was inspired by Shadowcat, and in Mutant X we came back around to Shadowcat being inspired by Buffy. She looked awesome as a vampire hunter on the cover. But she wasn't quite that in the comic and looked completely different. Quite frustrating. But, this was one of my holy grail pieces. And thankfully I finally got to fix her up. I believe this is also the last Mutant X design I needed to get to.

Feet were recut GI Joe shoes. Head was from one BossFight blank with the ponytail from another blank. Glued it in place, then sculpted the rest of the hair around it. Sculpted up the pants, sleeves, shirt, belt, hammer, stake, necklace, sheath strap, and the stars strapped to her arms. Sheath and sword were from Marauder. Full repaint, and all done!
