ML Namor head

Fairly simple custom. The hardest parts were to dremel Namor's head to a smooth bald head. I was iffy on how to make the antennas, but luckily my idea worked out on first try. I have a small finger drill to put holes in his head, then glued in wire twist ties. The bulbous tops of the antennas were made by hanging the figure upside down then putting a small drop of superglue on each antenna and letting gravity create the drop shape as the drops dried and hardened.

I took some liberties with his costume colors in the painting stage. Online references show a muted purple and bright yellow color scheme. When I put down a primer layer of gray and sand over the Nightcrawler body to make it easier get from there to the reference pics, I thought the gray and sand looked pretty good. It also sort of made sense in that gray and sand are the best colors to use as far as camouflage go. Add to that my laziness in painting and I ended up just going with gray and sand.

He's part of my ongoing effort to make ML compatible versions of my DC must have characters.
