I always enjoy doing dioramas and wanted to do a Jurassic Park inspired one. I wanted an iconic, but not super hard scene, so I decided to go with the 'Long Grass' scene from The Lost World in HO, or 1/87 scale.

The base was a wooden craft plate painted black. The grass and foilage were from various model lines and were cut to size, glued on and then perked up to make it stand up straight.

The human figures were railroad, HO scale figures from an athlete/running pack and were repainted to look more hunter, less marathon runner.

Finally, the raptors were little rubber mini's from some dinosaur mini line I found online.

Not a super hard diorama once I got moving, I'm still very pleased with it.
