Rasputin the Mad Frog is one of the punk frogs. He is named after one of Shredder's “heroes” - Rasputin the Mad Monk. He was created in the same manner as his three brothers, Attila the Frog, Genghis Frog & Napoleon Bonafrog, when Mutagen sent by Krang landed near four frogs in a Florida swamp. Despite his name, Rasputin the Mad Frog is the kindest, gentlest mutant frog you'll ever meet. The only thing that really makes him hopping mad is the fact that Shredder tried to trick him and his web-footed brothers into fighting for the Foot, but Rasputin has turned over a new lilypad leaf and is ready to help the Turtles beat the bad guys with his own two flippers!
Rasputin's Feathered Shield enables this good, green guy a chance to protect himself from danger...warts and all. He uses his Mighty Swamp Axe not only to slap some sense into Shredder and his moronic mutants, but to catch a bite to eat at the end of a daring day.

As soon, as Playmates' frogs (two of them, who were ever produced) are not like, I decided to make all the punk frogs to be different in this series. Making 'em like in original would be too easy - just to repaint Genghis Frog with minor differences in his shirt. Besides that would mean to left Playmates' Napoleon aside... That's why I have made such decision.

Recipe: Some 90th turtle bootleg (probably a Chinese one), it had a removable shell.
v.0.5 - it was made back in 90th and was just a repaint of the figure without a shell.
v.1.0 - was made in mid 00th. I changed the figure' clothes and gave it frog's eyes. About the hawaiian shirt - it was my experiment with real fabric material and unusual look. I have made a pattern alright, but that was hard enough to sew the pieces together because of their small size. Here again, as original punk frogs had outfits in pairly reversed colours, I decided to make the same with my customs. So, Rasputin get reversed colours with Genghis.
But yet again, like with Attila the Frog, something was not right, something was missing...
v.1.5 - this is the final one - I made a more froglick back and some minor changes: I covered the holes on his belly and gave him a pendant (from real copper wire).
As for his accessories, I even don't know whos are they, but I had a spare set with a shield (like all the Frogs in the series). Well, there is no bow, like in original, but all the frogs' weapons are mixed up anyway.
