Here is my take on updating the Inhumanoids Redwood Mutores. The toys named were Redlen, Redsun, and Redwoods (troop builder, I guess) and had a telescoping/tree growing gimmicks. Also had some of the best eye light piping in toy history (2nd only to the Granites!). The toy catalog photography, box art, and the cartoon showed a very different, scary representation of the Redwoods compared to that of the somewhat goofy final toys. Here I've attempted to update the Redwoods to look closer to the earlier representation with slender proportions, gaping mouths, large eyes, and branch-like arms. Instead of the telescoping gimmick, I made them at 3 different heights. Torso and random parts from Marvel Legends Groot, head and legs from the trusty Spawn Vertebreaker, plastic champagne cups, and lots of milliput. Painted with an airbrush, drybrushed and washed with paints from Citadel and Testors.
