These babies were a long time in the making. I grew up loving this wonderful, underrated film, and have always dreamed of a set of action figures and a sequel. Since the sequel is 99.9999% improbable, I opted on making the figures. They've been on the "back burner" for a little over a year now, as I gradually gathered parts. At one point I ran out of money, before Harley even got his head. Recently I got my funding again, and decided to finish them off. Harley's jacket has every patch seen in the film, and since there is no viable Mickey Rourke headsculpt in existence---I used a Bruce Willis head and gave him some spikey hair. Don Johnson's head is actually a Donald Sutherland head from "Kelley's Heroes". By far the most expensive part was Harley's pants, which I had to buy overseas. I'm truly ashamed at what I had to pay for these, and then being forced to paint the stripes after shelling out such $$ was sheer terror. I have to say my favorite addition to this set is the duct tape on Marlboro's boots. In the film, his boots defined what kind of man he was. They aren't entirely finished yet. When I can raise enough $$ again, I hope to get a 1:6 chopper for Harley, and of course Harley's pistol that Marlboro referred to as a "hog leg".
