Credo! I just read about the recent death of Kevin O’Neill, co-creator of Nemesis the Warlock, a British comic started in 1980 and published by 2000AD (the same ones by Judge Dredd). Nemesis is a dragon-man who, in the distant future, fights against the ruthless Tomas de Torquemada, galactic inquisitor, who wants to exterminate / subdue all the aliens of the Galaxy by making them slaves. I started this custom, I think, more than two years ago, because of the affection I felt for the character. To be honest, I was a fan, more than of the comic (which I pleasantly discovered years later), of the video game for Commodore 64 and the phantasmagoric music that accompanies the opening credits, one of the songs for video games (perhaps THE song for video games) in my opinion most beautiful ever written. My custom was standing there for a long time, before I, three days ago, without knowing anything about the death of poor O’Neill, got back on it. Call it, if you like, galactic telepathy… To make it I used many parts of many different characters (there is something of Predator, something of a gladiator, a little of Raoh from Hokuto no Ken, something else even of TMNT); the base is a Thor KO from Mafex to which I have reversed the knee joints.
