The Wolverine Origins brown and tan figure wasn't exceptional, so I do intend to one day make it. The plan was to use a BossFightStudio figure since it would stand about a half inch shorter than the Marvel figures. So that scaling seemed appropriate. But this approach could work too. It stands a little shorter, and the build actually fits really well. So I'll probably use this recipe exactly. As poorly as I look on the Wolverine Origins figure, the guy that got this piece feels the same way about the older Astonishing Wolverine release. For as many Wolverine figures as we've gotten over the years, the vast majority are unfortunately just ok.

Head was from a Wolverine Origins Wolverine figure. Lower legs were from Captain America. Claws were swords, cut down and glued in place, with some sculpt added over them. Upper legs were from Iron Fist. Sculpted up the sections on the back of the gloves, the belt, shoulder pads, and the boots. Full repaint, and all done!
