Vash The Stampede D.O.B. 10/12/06. When I saw This contest I just had to enter. This is my first contest entry ever. My Vash turned out Exactly like I wanted. It took every element of my custom skills from Drmeling, hand sanding, Sculpting, painting & custom outfitting.

Recipe:
new X-Men Series Gambit base figure from head to toe with resculpted face (demel) and hair (self dry clay). I also dremeled the armed to get a skinier anime look and removed cuffs and added a highr cuff to the left arm. also repanted from head to toe and gave face anime look as well.

gun made from a resculpt of Ml bishop sawed off shotgun and painted chrome.

Vashe's jacket was the most technical part. I used only the top of the OG jacket and then cut and fastened peices from ML bishop scarf, ML dracula cape, X-Men Series Storm cape, and a Sin city chick's jacket. super glued it together and burned the edges together to make it flow well. It is a completely original jacket for vash.

then a full repaint (testors) with chrome highlights finished it off.

I think this is some of my best work and it's my new favorite custom. I hope you all like it too.

The more I look at this fig the more I like it. You should also make the Neon Cowboy with real working lights. That would be tops!

Nice, but my comment doesn't count for much cause I'm a newbie to customs...but still, very good! I'm starting on a Legato custom soon and that's gonna be hard...any pointers you can give me?

Nifty Gambit gets some good use :P
You could try using small flat-head pins to make those little silver things in the coat so they'll all look the same.
