I've made Sonic with SOAP shoes a few times, but this time I was asked for a unique twist. Some of my customs are used for stop motion animation, and the Jazwares Sonic figure can be hard to work with because his head is pretty heavy, ENTER ME! On this figure I not only printed the soap shoes based on the in game models, but I also printed Sonic's head. The reason is that the printed head weighs significantly less than the figure's original cast head, which makes the figure less top heavy and hopefully easier to pose for stop motion animation. His nose is made of craft foam because when printed in this scale Sonic's nose is TINY and easy to snap off when made out of the brittle plastic my printer uses.
