After making Unbreakable and Glass, I wanted to complete the trio with The Beast. The nightmarish personality buried inside James McAvoy’s mind (in the movie, obviously) is made out of three different action figures, plus the feet that I bought on ebay. The torso comes from a wrestling figure (it was difficult to find the right character as he shouldn’t be neighter too big nor too small); second are the legs that come from a 7” McFarlane The Walking Dead prison Daryl figure. Third is the head which is actually the union of two heads: the upper part (the skull) is from the Marvel Legends Professor X, which portrays the actual James McAvoy head; the lower part (mouth, jaw and chin) is from a Mezco Punisher screaming head. The effect of the veins that run through the body of the figure is made using small green cotton wires. I know this is a strange technique but I like to experiment. Finished with acrylic spray to simulate sweating. Finally the “Glass” trio is reunited…
