I had this RC Jurassic Park jeep sitting around and wanted to do something with it. Previously I did a whole bunch of apocalypse style vehicles and I thought that this would be a good opportunity to try that again but actually being remote controlled this time.

First step was to take the main vehicle off the RC body, take off the windshield and start modifying it. Viewing this as kind of a "capture car" type vehicle, I put a crane on the top which still swivels and raises/lowers. Also, since I wanted it to look reinforced, I attached the plate the hood, using the hot glue to look like the weld once it was painted. Next step was to completely repaint the body, adding layers of rust and weathering to make it look dirty. I did keep the wheels that bright red color just because I felt it made it look even more outlandish.

Finally, the body was sealed and then refit on the RC body. The car still runs with a controller and AA batteries and since it fits 3.75 inch figures, it can work for a lot of different genres!
