This was a fun one I wanted to do for awhile, and was actually one of the main reasons I finally decided to add Batwoman to my Bat-family toy shelf (I actually really like the character, but it was just a matter of investing the money). I'm a sucker for variety, and it's such a unique design, even compared to every other Batwoman. -Base is a TNBA Catwoman figure, which I cut the ears off of and glued back on at a more Bat-like angle. -Non-clawed hands are from a Supergirl. (I wanted to steal smaller hands from Livewire instead, but the hands broke when I tried to use them) -Cape is from an old MU Scarlet Witch -Gauntlet spikes come from a DCEU Batman Lots of sculpting and sanding to get it as smooth as I had the patience for, then I painted it. If I didn't just have cheapo Apple Barrel Black I might have painted the underside of the cape, but I've learned the hard way that acrylic paint doesn't like to stick to softer plastic generally, and I don't want black shedding all over the back of my figure. I may someday get some Angelus black and do it that way, but for now it's fine. ![]() |
